Nathaniel is a great name, but I don't care for
Jonas (I think
Jonas takes away from the masculinity of
Nathaniel).
I like both
Samuel and
Nathaniel. If you're one who is dos not really like common names, then I would say
Nathaniel. But, I really like both names, and it depends on the middle name.
Nathanael does look odd to me - yes, misspelt. I think it would cause spelling problems in the long run, since people are accustomed to the spelling
Nathaniel.
