I kind of like Alaric... you could call him Al, but you wouldn't have to. It's not as long and complicated as some other names though.
I kind of like Alaric Franz, Alaric Peter, and Alaric Wilhelm.
I just think that if a kid would be named Alaric, they should have a semi-normal/popular name to balance it out a little, like Alaric James or Alaric Timothy or something.
