I do like the dusty feel of it and I think it fits right in with the
Betty /
Edna style.
The sound is different, but not unpleasant. The spelling certainly lends to the older feel of the name. I could imagine it used today as Lelda, but I do like the e ending personally.
Still, if I were to be realistic, I would likely use Lelda instead because it is easier to figure out pronunciation across cultures.
Edwin is a great option for a sibset. Though, I think I would prefer Lelde and
Edgar instead.
