I find it extremely tired-sounding. There are too many Peytons in the world, as far as I'm concerned! Plus--and I won't be showing my age so much as my geekiness in admitting this--I immediately think of the original nighttime soap. (I blame this mostly on
Jeanie C.
Riley's song "
Harper Valley PTA," which includes the line "Well, this is just a little
Peyton Place and you're all
Harper Valley hypocrites!")
Beyond that, the emphasis of "pay" in it means it sounds less like it should be paired with
Sebastian and more like it should be paired with Cashley.
To quote
Franz Ferdinand, mon amie? You could have it so much better.
