I actually really like Donna. In threads that ask your favorite popular names from past eras, I've written before that I think if I'd been a mom in the 60s or 70s and without access to name nerd resources, I could easily have had kids named Kevin, Nicholas (which I still love), Donna, and / or Lori.
While I would love for Donna to come back, it's too much of a Mom / Grandma Name right now. Give it another 40 years, when it potentially becomes a Great-Grandma name, because that's generally when they start to appeal again.
