I do like it, but it sounds a bit too much as the place name. In Sweden Mary Magdalene is known as Maria from Magdala. In the U.S. that wouldn't be a problem.Oh, and I love names from Agatha Christie novels, partly because of the period and it's popular names, and then the uncommon names she chose. I wish there was a list of them.
