I get a totally different feel from Mara and Maura. Maura is super dark for me. Mara I pronounce MAH-ruh (same as I say Lara and Tara), and Maura MORE-ruh. I prefer Mara slightly, but I like them both, although neither really excites me.
Eleanor Mara was a name for a character when I was 15. Haha. I forgot all about that until now.
