[Opinions] Re: Boston

Boston...I don't really like it, but I could maybe almost see it working on a tough-guy type, or a shy, skinny boy with huge glasses (two different pictures, I know). On a girl though...eugh. I just cannot see it. And something about those combos, Boston Charlotte and Boston Oscar, just really turn me off. It may be because they're all disyllabic and I feel that Boston could only benefit from a longer middle name, or a short, concrete middle name.I'm not big on place names, but I do like Cairo on a boy. Definitely GP, but I think it's quite nice. I'm slowly warming to Berlin as well. For what gender, I don't know. I do love Israel, but that was a person's name before it was a place, so I'm not sure it counts.I'm not totally against place names, some sound okay. Something about them bug me a bit, though; they almost seem a bit pretentious, I guess, and too "big" for a real person to bear, if that makes any sense at all.
