In the case of title,
Donna and
Don are pronounced a bit differently than the English names
Donna and
Don (from
Donald).
Donna, as a romantic title, is pronounced do-nah instead of da-nah. Quite similar to the names
Donato or
Donatella.
The use of the title is outdated right now, unless you just mean a woman (Italian), but a valid connection.
