What is it with people wanting to name girls
James atm? It's been all over reddit namenerd parody posts and presumably all over namenerd reddit, if you think about it for more than two seconds it's just daft... so either you're trolling, or you haven't thought about how it sounds in the real world. I know most gender norms are stupid, but if I sat here and said 'I wanna call my son
Elizabeth', nobody would take me seriously. Some names are, in practice, in the eyes of most people, just gendered and that's that.
Also, I'm sorry to all the Jameses out there... it's just not that nice a name. I've never liked it, and I don't get the appeal, I find it a bit dull.
