Re: Thoughts on some family names

Adeline- I think it aligns perfectly with today's trends. An Adeline would fit right in.
Agnes- This still sounds elderly to me; I can't quite get on the Agnes train yet.
Anneke- I've never particularly cared for this name or any variants of it.
Astrid- It's okay, though the initial sounds puts me off a little bit.
Birgit- I prefer Bridget.
Caroline- This is underused and sweet. It's on my list.
Edith- I've liked Edith for a long time, too. I think it's due for a comeback.
Elsa- I like it, but would hesitate to use it now that Frozen fever is everywhere.
Frieda- While it reminds me of Frida Kahlo, otherwise I'm not a fan of the look or sound.
Harriet- It's on my list. I think it's adorable, and you can use the nickname Hattie.
Henriette- This and Henrietta have been growing on me. They're very cuddly to me.
Ingrid- I've always found this to be cold and harsh.
Margit- It, like Birgit, doesn't make much of an impression on me.
Nola- I think this is pretty.
Sigrid- On a par with Ingrid.
Stella- I've always liked Stella. It's a little brash, but in a good way.
Synneva- I'm unfamiliar with this, but it reminds me of Sunniva, which I think is lovely.
Vera- I think Vera is good for a comeback as well.
Viola- Eh, I prefer Violet or Violette.
