Love it, adore it, was the top choice for us until someone pointed out that our last name also starts with a P and those are unfortunate initials. I would still use it given the chance though.
I personally think it has that vintage charm like Milly or Alice, yet it's classier and a bit more formal/frilly. I like it better than Pauline, which is totally against my normal style.
My mother thinks it's a more sophisticated version of Polly or Pollyanna, which she prefers.
I considered the Polina spelling, but I much prefer Paulina. It's so feminine, yet so strong at the same time. I just really really like it.
