I much prefer Annelise since it’s the Danish spelling and thus the one that I’m familiar with. I know enough Dutch and German to recognise that the ie makes sense in those languages, whereas the e is completely unnecessary when I look at it a Dane. Long story short: I prefer Annelise since it’s the standard spelling in my country. Is it used for kids and young people at the moment in your country? It’s very outdated here. 60+ name.Mother of Elisabeth Frida

Annalise is somewhat popular, not extremely though and it didn't chart till the late 90s. Annabel(le) and Anna / Hannah are used way more in the US.
