I knew a blond Estella. She would be 19 now.
The name still makes me think of the Dickens character in her wedding dress. But also, now, of the athletic Christian girl who was my daughter's friend for a few years.
I don't think this name seems all that rare, but I could be confusing it with Stella. It's not a favorite of mine.
I like the nickname Esta. Or if that didn't suit, maybe Stelly.
