I can see why some consider it an ugly sound, it’s a bit harsh, but personally I love hard G sound in names.

One of my guilty pleasure, usual twin G / G ideas is Antigone and Eurydice. I think they complemented each other quite well

I totally forgot to include Antigone in my own lineup of hard G's. Antigone is one of my favorite hard G names actually!
