Anders and Catherine have been married for a year. Anders is of Norwegian, Finnish and Russian origin and decided to dedicate his life to spreading the Lutheran faith. That's how he met Catherine, a beautiful young girl from France. It was a love on first sight and they got married after a short relationship. Catherine has a degree in business and is putting it to a very good use. Coming from different countries they landed together in Brazil, mostly due to Anders' job, but Catherine did not lose any time and found herself a job as a key account manager for one of the international companies in Rio de Janeiro.

Year 1
Anders and Catherine are both very religious and helping others is very high on their list of priorities. Therefore it came as no surprise when two years into their marriage they decided to adopt, from Haiti. They adopted three brothers who are aged 12, 10 and 7. The boys are settling in beautifully in their new country with new parents.

Year 2
Anders and Catherine welcomed a baby girl! Lance and Vito were excited to became big brothers, while Gary took the news with his typical teenage attitude, but he dots on his little sister whenever he thinks no one can see him. The blond wavy haired and green eyed baby girl has been named Stella Johanna Nylund.

Year 3
Catherine has lost her job! With all the time off she had to take due to the new baby and the boys settling in after adoption it came as no surprise. For the time being she decided to stay at home with her kids and not look for another job.

Year 4
While at home Catherine has decided to write a book. It deals mainly with her and Anders' journey to bring home their adopted sons. It is selling fairly well and the family is happy with the little additional income.

Anders and Catherine have adopted again! A little boy aged around 8 months has been found on their doorsteps one morning. After searching for his parents for week, Anders and Catherine have finally decided to adopt him. He has brown hair and the biggest brown eyes they have other seen. After a long discussion he has been named Viggo Maksim Mateo Nylund, honoring both his grandfathers as well as his Brazilian heritage.

Stella brought home a chicken and the family decided to keep it for eggs. They have named her "Pip".

Anders and Catherine have welcomed a two months old girl from El Salvador into their blended family. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. They decided to name her Maren Tatiana Carmen Nylund. Stella is over the moon to finally have a little sister.

Year 9
Anders' parents sadly passed away during an expedition in Kamchatka. The whole family was mourning the grandmom and granddad who were bellowed by all their grandchildren. With Anders being their only son the family has inherited their house in Trondheim as well as hefty amount of money.

After decade in Brazil it was embarrassing for Anders and Catherine that their children have seen very little of the country. So they pack their bags and went to a tour on Amazon river. The whole family enjoyed the experience tremendously.

Anders and Catherine surely enjoyed the Amazon river experience as soon after returning they found themselves pregnant. Their daughter was born with bunch of daddy's straight black hair and green eyes after her grandmother. She was named Thea Charlotte Nylund.

After a lot of thought the majority of the family family decided reallocate after Anders got a new offer from a diocese in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gary and his little family remain in Rio de Janeiro which saddened Thea as she and Maria Victoria are very close.
