Scripts 愛鈴(Japanese Kanji) あべる(Japanese Hiragana) アベル(Japanese Katakana)
Pronounced Pron. A-BEH-ROO  [key·IPA]

Meaning & History

Transliterated form of Abel (for boys), in use among the Japanese in recent years.
For girls, it can also be written into kanji as 愛鈴 with 愛 (ai, ito.shii, kana.shii, me.deru, o.shimu, mana, a) meaning "love, affection" and 鈴 (rei, rin, suzu, beru), read like the English word bell, which is what that kanji means.

It is very rarely used.
