This name is pretty. I would use it, but I have a cousin named Annalee. Lucky girl, lol.
Very pretty! One of my favorite names. It’s Anna with a unique twist. However, I don’t like the ee ending. I prefer the spelling Annaleigh.
Annalee sounds pretty enough, but I don't think this spelling flows very well. I don't exactly have pleasant associations for this name either. I'd spell it Annelie.
Pronounced A-nə-lee. [noted -ed]
I named my daughter AnnaLee (spelled this way) and I just love this name. I named her after several people that I love and cherish. It's a very strong GREAT name! I did not know about its reference with the Bible. (Amazing)
My name is ANNALEE, I love the name so much and the fact that I have only met one other person in my life with the same name. It makes me very unique and I love that. The name Annalee is a Latin name, the meaning is biblical- the devoted woman that saw baby Jesus in the temple at Jerusalem. The meaning of “Anna” is grace. It is a variation of the name Hannah, and “Hannah” is Hebrew. “Lee” means hardworking and protecting shelter. I am proud that my name has such a powerful meaning and I am happy that it makes me unique. I like the fact that when I tell people my name I have to say it slower and pronounce it clearly so they understand it because they probably have never heard it. I frankly don’t care if you hate on this name because it is my name and one comment of hate definitely does not define my life because I am named “Annalee”. I simply wrote this because I was looking at the meaning of my name more in depth and I came across this and I wanted to see what people said. I wanted to show people the meaning and why I love this name.
My name is Annalee and I love it so very much. People call me Anal-me and Anal-ee. Even so, I love my name and hold it near and dear to my heart. Yes, for anyone considering this name for your child, know that they will get teased about it, but doesn't everyone get teased about their name? This is a beautiful name and I highly recommend naming your child this.

My name is Anna-Li. My parents were going to originally spell it "Annalee" when they adopted me from China. Instead, they chose to spell it the "Chinese" way. Having punctuation in and a different spelling of my name has always made it unique; I've never met anyone with the same name as me. (Most of the time, people call me Anna, pronounced "Ah-na.")I have, however, been made fun of with "anally" by childhood bullies, but their immaturity is easy to dismiss. I'm proud of my name, and I think it's beautiful.
My name is Anna Lee and yes it is spelled like that but I always thought it was cuter with it together “Annalee". My opinion though and I've never gotten “anally" from anyone before. Plus prefer it pronounced An-Na Leh...
Hello, my name is Annalee. Why do you think my name would be similar to "anally"? That is highly immature and rude to not only me, but to anyone with the name. And for those who like the name, my name is not pronounced Ah-na-lee its pronounced the way you say Anna with no Ah sound. :) I think my name is beautiful and love it to death. I would never change my name for another. Thank you to all who love the name!
Also it doesn't sound like "anally" at all. So don't bring it up. Only downside is it is so uncommon and people always mess up my name.
I think Anna-Lena/Annalena is prettier.
It would be hard to pronounce Annalee without it sounding like "anally." If you really want to name your daughter this, maybe you could break it up as Anna Lee so there's a pause in between, and it would give her the option of going simply by Anna if she wants to sound less anal and less hickish.
The heroic android from the fourth instalment of the Alien franchise is named Annalee Call.
Annalee ranked #920 in 2012. I think it's best left as Anna Lee... Honestly the "anally" association is just too strong, and the -lee ending sounds a bit country-ish and youthful.
Honestly, I think Annalee is the prettiest name I've ever heard. I don't think it sounds like "anally" at all. Whoever thinks that is obviously very immature. You shouldn't make fun of such a pretty name. I know a girl named Annalee and she's a very beautiful girl and she's one of the sweetest girls I know. I have never heard anyone make fun of her name. I was surprise to see comments talking about how it sounds like "anally". It's a beautiful name and people should realize that.
I'm surprised that this name has gotten so much negative feedback. I think it's a nice name. "Anally" wouldn't be pronounced the same way.

This name is so hickish!
No matter how you cut it, this name sounds like anally. Any person with half a brain cell who loves their child would not saddle them with this atrocity.

This name is very pretty, but I prefer it spelt Annelie or Annalie.
No, never. It would take a seventh grade boy approximately 13 seconds to come up with "Anally".
I know a woman named Annalee and her last name is Lee (this is her married name). Hehe!
I can see the appeal of "Anna Lee," but together, this name always looks like "anally" to me.
I love this name, I'd pronounce it Ah-na-lee.
