It should also be mentioned that her mom named her Beyonce because she felt like their wasn't enough men within her family to carry on the name (thus endangered of becoming extinct) thus why she gave it to her first born daughter which is a beautiful sentiment.

I don’t usually believe in one person names, but Beyoncé is most definitely one in my eyes. The name isn’t ugly, it’s actually kinda pretty. However the singer has a nice reason for it to be her name as it’s a family name, on some other girl it wouldn’t look too good. Not to mention no offense but it kinda gives me celebrity-worship vibes.

It looks nice on Beyoncé since at least in her case it has meaning to her family, but it looks weird on anyone else, especially because people will automatically assume they were named after Beyoncé.
