Sounds unattractive and sort of forced. I prefer Briana, and I don't particularly like Briana.
It can ALSO be pronounced as /bɹaɪ.ˈæn/ (brie-AN).
I’m really sorry if I offend you but this is my honest opinion: I think the Brianna, Briana, and Brianne names are all so ugly. Briana/Brianna pronounced Bree-aw-nah is a little better but when it’s pronounced Bree-ann-uh, I think it’s hideous. Same goes for Brianne.
Briana.
Ugly.
This is my middle name and I really like it. I wish I could go by this but it would be weird getting called this all the time.
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers, known professionally as Brie Larson, is an American actress, director, and singer. She began her acting career in television, appearing as a regular on the 2001 sitcom Raising Dad, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award.
I like that this isn't a name that I hear everyday, but it's not strange sounding either. I think it sounds a lot more mature and sweet than Brianna for some reason. Maybe because most of the Brianna's I've known have been rather mean and stuck up. Brianne sounds very sophisticated and professional. I can't really picture a little kid with the name, but Bri is cute I guess.
Sounds too made up to me, but at least it's not overused like Brianna.
The name Brianne was given to 77 girls born in the US in 2015.
I prefer both Breanne and Brianne to Brianna, mostly because of the 'n' endings as opposed to an 'a' ending. (And I'm starting to like Francophone and French-influenced names more.)
This is the full name of singer/actress Brie Larson. Her most notable film credits include roles in "Sleepover" and "Hoot".
This is my name and it is pronounced bree-ann. I get brian and bry-anna and bree-anna a lot. I shorten it to either Bri (bree) or Breezy.
I think this is an okay name. Personally, I like Brianna better, but that is because Brianna is my name. :D
I think this is really pretty, and even though I like this and Brianna, I like Brianne more.
This is a very pretty name. I am acquainted with a girl whose nickname is "Breezi".
I'm a big fan of this name! And for many, many reasons. I like it so much, I actually started a club. For one - it's just fun to say and can be shortened to Bri in a pinch. The Brianne I know is sassy, spunky, funny, happy, up-beat, beautiful, bright, curious, kind, thoughtful, imaginative, free spirited and thousand miles away - which is the only thing I don't like about Brianne. I know what you're thinking, just find one that's closer. Sorry I like the original. I digress. Brianne is timeless too; great for all ages. If you're looking for a name that rolls off the tongue and that people will always remember, this is the one.
I like this name way better than Brianna (no offense to anyone with the name Brianna).
Brianne is the second name of Kelly Clarkson.
I like this name. It's nice and it's not overused.
