Callahan

Very handsome, upper class name! I love the nickname options of Callan or Callen as well!

Nice name, I like how it can shorten to Cal. It also has a nice meaning.

I think Callahan is alright. A nice, Irish name. It does however sound a bit like a surname.

Dirty harry Callahan, tommy boy Callahan, strong Irish surname. But I have also seen it as a given name. It kinda makes me think that with someone with it as a first name I would be afraid they would get bullied. It sounds rich and snobbish for a first name but as a last family name its perfect.

Does come off as sounding too surname-y though, I can definitely see, 'Mr. Callahan.''Officer Callahan' or detective Callahan.

I like this name. I've always loved the nickname "Cal" but I hate "Calvin." Callahan, however, is much better and fresher.

I like this as a surname. For some reason it always reminds me of a detective.

I have always liked the sound of this name.
