I can only think of the school when I hear this.
Is this the Roman equivalent of Harmonia?
Sounds like a band. But honestly not bad.
Gives off festive vibes due to its pronunciation, even though its associations are coming up correlating with a business theme. I guess names with repeating syllables bring out the sense of a reassurance or authority, reputation, status maybe, like Barbara, Nana, Toto... It serves as an accentuation at the same time they carry on their simplicity. When I think of Concordia this name definitely makes her the center of attention, main heroine.
Not really famous, but a German namesake after all: Concordia zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (*28.10.1648, +25.1.1683)
I love the name Concordia. It sounds like the name of a beautiful, graceful, melodic person if that makes sense. I love the way it sounds as well. I would consider Concordia for a daughter.
I love the name Concordia! I think this name is very beautiful! I totally agree with the anonymous comment from 2018. That comment sums up my feelings about this name perfectly; I, too, find this name to be beautiful, graceful, and melodic. I love its meaning; it means "harmony" in Latin. It's definitely a musical name to me. This name is so underrated. It's sad that this beautiful name gets only a 64% on this site. This name should be used more often; it's so rare that the SSA doesn't have data for it (for privacy reasons, SSA does not publish names with four or fewer occurrences per year). If I have a daughter, I am definitely considering using this name.
Makes me think of the Costa Concordia cruise ship that crashed in Italy.
This name is pretty, but I wouldn't use it myself because it makes me think of concord grapes (which are very good, though!)
Concordia is the name of a university in the town next to mine.
Sounds like a girl, 16, who plays the cello. I personally like this name.
Reminds me of Concord airplanes.
Don't really like it. Reminds me of Concordia University in Montreal. If I didn't know that university, maybe I'd like it more.
