What's just wrong with Eileen? Its spelling is just perfect as it is. All I can just see here is "I lean forward".

I really like the name Eileen but am not a big fan of this spelling. It’s literally “I lean” put together. It’s also distant from the original spelling and seems dated.

As an Eileen who sometimes gets the I lean, this name is awful. Ilene looks much prettier.

I didn't know this was a real name! My name is Eileen and my nickname is I-Lean because that's what Eileen sounds like. As a real name, I like it but I prefer the spelling Eileen.

My great, great, Grandmother had this name. It's kind of old fashioned, but very uniuqe;)
