I've always liked this name. It's pretty but it should only be given to Latina girls. On anyone else it just seems wrong... like cultural appropriation.
I really like this name and it is growing on me. It is lovely, and reminds me of yellow flowers and sunny days.
Much love to all Marisols, because this name is quite a treasure.
Honestly my favorite feminine name ever. Can be used for practically any age, nice translation, and sounds perfect.
Reminds me of an umbrella.
I think it's such a happy name. Sea and sun! It also reminds me of sunflowers.
I really don't know why the ratings aren't that high. I honestly think Marisol is a sweet and beautiful name in my opinion.
It's a very nice name, reminds me of a sunny day. I'd consider it as a name for a baby girl if English speakers would pronounce it correctly.
All Mari names are so beautiful.
Beautiful name. Sea and Sun. I also like Maris and Maribel.
Pretty.
Sounds so merry!
Youthful, pretty, and exotic. I love Marisol!
This name is heavenly. And it's not illiterate.
Very unique.
Very pretty and underused.
Wait, why are the ratings low?
Sounds like it would be the name of a cleaning product.
Atrocious and illiterate.
I like this name, but it sounds an awful lot like 'parasol'. Not like that takes anything away from the name.
I think this is a beautiful name for a little girl.
It could mean sea and sun, from Maris and Sol. Not the more common derivation, but really just as legit. Anyway, I both love and hate the sound, because it's so close to 'aerosol'.
This name is really cute! I wouldn't name my kid it, but I like the way it sounds. It almost sounds like a modern way of Mary.
This is a lovely and mellifluous name with a lovely meaning!
A very pretty sounding name for a girl.
I love this graceful, lyrical and underused name.
