Means "sky".In Egyptian mythology she was the goddess of the sky, originally just the night sky, and all heavenly bodies in the Ennead. She was frequently depicted as a star-covered nude woman arching over the earth, or as a cow. She was a consort of her brother Geb, with whom she had Osiris, Seth, Isis, and Nephthys. She is considered one of the oldest deities in the Egyptian pantheon.
