Perrine Leblanc is a Canadian writer from Quebec. Her debut novel L'homme blanc, published in 2010, won the 2010 Grand prix du livre de Montréal, the Governor General's Award for French-language fiction at the 2011 Governor General's Awards, and the 2011 edition of Le Combat des livres.

Perrine Pelen is a former World Cup alpine ski racer from France. Born at Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris, she made her World Cup debut at age 16 in December 1976 and won three slalom races that 1977 season.

This is my name, and I hated it when I was little, because it was so rare that it sounded strange. No one my age had ever heard the name before. But I've grown to like it. One thing that irritates me, though, is how people always make mistakes, in spelling and pronunciation.
