I have read Save Me A Seat and Ravi is one of the characters.
It has a soft, lovely sound, but it's still good for a strong coming-of-age boy!

The Indian pronunciation is "ra-VEE", making the "Ra" very quick and the "VEE" longer. Many people still pronounce it "RAH-vee", putting all the stress on the first syllable. [noted -ed]

Correct pronunciation is RUH-vee, not RAH-vee.
