Alright... I may be half-right when I say I liked this name a lot in my previous comment via @LionB3 on May/29/2020. While I do like this gender-neutral name, I think this spelling makes it a bit too simple... Still a great Japanese name though. It may get confused with the similar sounding name Wren.

I never expected the name Ren to mean this in Japanese! I adore the name Ren. It's simple yet elegant. This is one of my fave Japanese names. :)

Kind of ironic how Ren the Chihuahua in Ren and Stimpy is everything but loving.
But I think this is a nice name, not too short and simple to the point of boredom. And of course I love flowers or anything flowery.
