What a lovely feminine alternative to Ryan. In case you love Ryan as a girl’s name, only not feminine enough. Ryana and any other feminine versions are always there. I do like Ryan for a girl and especially a boy, but I only like the feminine versions for a girl.

I prefer Rhiannon. Plus this name reminds me of Brianna, and I don't really like Brianna as a name.

To me, it just looks like rye-AN-a. Ryan isn't classic enough to have a feminine form, in my opinion.

At least it isn't the very masculine Ryan, but it still sounds quite harsh, and it's a lazily put together, unimaginative name.

I've had this name since 1947 (60 years). My family always pronounced it as 'ree-anna'. The 'ry' sounds like Ryobi in Ryobi Tools. Yes, my father was Welsh.
