Name that was given during the Hēan Period, to an Empress Consort, "藤原 彰子" FUJIWARANOSHŌSHI or AKIKO FUJIWARA, married to "一条天皇" ICHIJŌ the Japanese Emperor Ichijō . The Kanji Character "彰" meaning "Evident", "Manifest" with the Kanji Character "子" meaning "Child". It could also be called "Akiko".
