Sigurd Snake-in-the-Eye or Sigurd Ragnarsson was a Viking warrior and Danish king (mid to late 9th century). According to multiple saga sources and Scandinavian histories from the 12th century and later, he is one of the sons of the legendary Viking Ragnar Lodbrok and Aslaug.
As an above commenter pointed out, this name is actually borne by a main character in the video game Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, who journeys across the continent of Jugdral to drive out invasions and, eventually, clear his name of wrongdoing. Also, he has a close association with fire. Just wanted to tease that. :P.
There is also a Fresian version (Friesland - Far North of Holland - just under Denmark - Fries - the oldest nordic language) of the name, which is Sjoerd.
