Way better as a surname. Having it as a middle name won't make it any better.

I would hate to be stuck with this name. It's boring.
Not a name.
In 2018, 6 girls were given this name.
I know a kid who is close friends with a boy named "Stone". Maybe just the one kid (I think he's about ten) isn't enough to be shown, I'm not sure. I don't think it's THAT rare in America. Just throwing that out there.
I don't hate it, and I agree with other commenters that this is a masculine name. It's a bit unusual but it's fresh in a way.
Cool and unusual, would make a fresh start as a new boy's name, since there are so many gemstone girl's names already, as well as flower ones. Just makes a nice change to see all these pretty things with one on the male side for once.
This is a really lame name.
Okay, as an English speaker I know that English nouns are not gendered. That being said... has anyone actually seen this used for girls? To my surprise (Stone doesn't sound like a personal name to me, sorry), this has charted for boys in the U.S., but it's about the harshest thing I can think of to call a baby girl.

There are better nature names out there. For boys and girls.
