I actually really like Liberty as a name, only for a girl though. Not a male name at all in my opinion. Libby is not a nn I care for though.

It's nice and Libby is a good nn.

I like Liberty on either sex, but I'm not a big fan of Libby.

I love the nn Libby, but I'm not nearly so fond of Liberty.

I love the name Liberty, and Libby is a great nickname for it. However, I generally prefer Liberty as a middle name because it's quite a high-expectation word name :-)_____________________________________________________________________"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true."Elinor

Liberty seems a bit cheesy; I don't like it at all.

Liberty is a little too hippy-ish for me, but it's not awful. Libby is cute but I prefer it as a nn for Elizabeth. I actually thought about naming my cat Liberty (as a reference to a fandom I'm involved with, sort of) and calling her Libby, but I wouldn't name my child that. :b

I like it. I like the way it sounds and looks, and I think the nn Libby is very cute!

Liberty is a word, and, therefore, not a name to me. It's not at all feminine.

I really like Liberty. Normally, a name like that would be too fanciful for me, but I like how it sounds and looks. I wouldn't use it though. Libby is a cute nn."A guilty conscience needs to confess. A work of art is a confession."- Albert Camus

Liberty is pretty by itself...no need to add imo 'little girlish' nn.~Natalia

I don't like Liberty because it just makes me think of American Rednecks (I think this is the right word) and Libby I have never liked as it reminds me of limp
