I like it better as a middle name, I prefer Mae or Maye :)

I love it! I like both spellings but ever-so-slightly prefer May.

I prefer the spelling Mae.

I adore Mae as a fn. It's one of those names usually relegated to the mn position, like Marie or Lynn. I love seeing those used as fns.

Mae is very much growing on me. I don't think I'd use it, but I think it's adorable as a fn or mn.

May has been my absolute favorite girl name for a long, long time. Spelled that way, but I'll accept Mae too. Love this name!

Yikes this is so hard for me because I LOVE the name May and both spellings. To me it makes a lovely first or middle name. The spelling , to me, depends on the name to go with it. I think May makes a better first name and Mae makes a good middle name.

I prefer it as a fn. Being a one-syllable name it's easy to stick it in the middle and be done with it, but Mae/May deserves a chance to shine as a fn.
