Amelia is growing on me after a movie a watched it was a good movie.

Her name was Amelia Jean nn AJ.

I actually like AJ as a nn for a girl. I had an old boyfriend who I despised his name was Adam Jason nn AJ so I never liked it much until now.

anyways WDYT of Amelia? and what "J" MN or part of a first name (like: Amelia Jean was her full FN) would you give Amelia?

WDYT of Amelia Josephine nn AJ (though I don't love the combo).

I've never liked it, despite liking Amelia Sedley in Vanity Fair!
I think Emilia is just that tiny bit classier. Not in love with it, though. And I can't stand Emma.

Amelia Josephine is nice, but a bit long for me. I like Amelia Jane, Amelia Jade, Amelia Janae and Amelia Joy.

AJ cuold be very cute on a girl.
Amelia has always rubbed me the wrong way(Emilia though I like). It's a pleasant enough name, but I just can't get behind it. Probably a case of bad association.
My first thought for a J name to pair with it was also Amelia Josephine, which doesn't have the best flow, though I prefer it to Amelia Jean. The name would probably be shortened to Amy Jo instead of AJ though.
Amelia Jane's simplicity is lovely, I actually could be swayed to not dislike Amelia in this combo.

Amelia is lovely - too lovely to be reduced to an initial nickname, it should stand on its own. I fell in the love with the name Amelie after watching the film Amelie, which is now my all time favorite movie.

I like it but I much prefer Emilia, though I really like the nn AJ.
I don't like it with the mn Jean or Josephine though.

I like Amelia I prefer Amelie but Amelia is still very pretty.
Jean is nice as a mn but I don't like double fns.
I really like Amelia Josephine, I can't really think of any other AJ combos, maybe Amelia Jane or Amelia Judith.

I used to like Amelia, but it's too popular over here now, and has got boring. AJ is quite nice, and Amelia Josephine is a good combo, or at least I can't think of a better one. First thought was Amelia Juliet, but that just screams trendy imo.
