[Facts] Zoja and Zoya
On the page for Zoja it says that it's pronounced ZOI-ah in Polish. Could anyone tell me if that's correct, or how it would be pronounced in Czech? Alternately, could you tell me if the given pronunciation of the Russian name Zoya (ZO-yah) is correct or not?Thank you!______________________________________________________

Zoja sounds like Zoya. The j in Polish is a y sound in English.

In Polish it's ZOH-yah. The I/J sound is in the 2nd syllable, not the first. The O is very short.

It's the same in Croatian and Czech.
