I really love Viola, Gwyneth Paltrow was so beautiful as Viola in Shakespeare in Love. I have heard tha Viola means something akin to Rape so that was the only thing keeping me from really loving it. Violet is lovely but it's too popular for me.

Out of these two I prefer Viola. I also like Violeta.

I really adore both, but I can see Violet getting more and more trendy, so I would go with Viola.
