What do you think of the girl's name Violet?
Do you have any middle names that go nicely with it?

Love Violet......Violet Adele, Violet Lucinda, Violet Honora and Violet Jane are among my favorites.

I think Violet's a pretty name, though I honestly wouldn't use it, but I still like it. I really like the combination Violet Anneliese.

Violet is very sweet as a name. I'm thrilled it's being rediscovered. One association I have for it are the violets I have on my front porch. A friend gave them to me and they are one of the few plants that I have managed not to kill through the years. Either I forget to water them, or they are surviving above the frost line in winter when I forget to put them in my garage. Man, those little guys are tough. So I also think of violets (and therefore the name Violet) in terms of surprising strength.Violet Adele (reminds me of petals) and Violet Sandrine are my favorite combination for the name.

I love it. And I love Vio as a nickname. Vi and Lettie would also be great.Violet Alexa is my favourite at the moment.

I think Violet is a lovely girls name, very sweet. I think classic names work well as mn's for Violet.
