[Opinions] Victor
I have mixed emotions about this name. I like the sound of it and don't mind the meaning, but I wonder if the meaning is a bit too bold and obvious. WDYT?

Maybe Victor seems too "bold and obvious" for English-speaking people, but here in Sweden it is very popular. I had an old uncle named Viktor, and now the name is popular again."But it’s all right now.

I love the name Victor, but I understand what you mean, sometimes it seems a bit pretentious and somewhat of a label to me.

I didn't think I liked this name until I met a victor my age. The name fit him and I loved it. I am not a big fan of Vic but with the right surname... I would use it!

I like the name but I prefer Victoria.

I don't really have a problem with the name's meaning being bold, but I just don't like the way that it sounds. I dislike Victoria as well. I think that a nicer male name that starts with a "V" is Vincent.

I like it and have thought about as a possible mn. It's underused and if you like it,use it

Personally I dislike the name Victor, I'm not sure why (maybe I watched a movie with Victor as the bad guy or something)
I like the famale version (Victoria) name better.BTW, I love you signature! I used to use that one but I figured I opened my mouth and removed all doubt too often to use it :P
