Lou is a pleasant nickname. Weez is not

I like Louise (and Louisa) but I would rather use it as a middle name.

I like Louise a lot. I don't like Louisa at all - needlessly fancied up. But I'd be much more likely to use Eloise or Lucy IRL, so Louise would never get a look-in, realistically.

I think it is a beautiful name and I'd love to see it used more. I've known only one Louise, who now would be about age 60.

My maternal grandfather and grandmother had a girl who was born and died before my mother was born, so my mom never knew this sister. The sister's name was Helen Louise and she died at age 3. She called herself Honey Weez.

Pretty and understated.

I do know multiple people with Louise as a MN, but only one with it as as a FN, so I find it more interesting in the FN spot.

I like these combos. Frenchie but not super Frenchie. Louise Naomi and Louise Rhiannon are maybe the most strikingly understated yet unexpected.

Louise Ariadne is really interesting! I also like Louise Gabrielle (très française!) and Louise Rhiannon.
