Blake - to me this is more masculine
Birdie - I wouldn't want to be named that as an adult. Just my opinion though. It is not horrible or anything.
Brooke - I can see the appeal and the nature image is nice but it is super dated and super unusable in non-English speaking countries, so not so great for a future globe trotter or something. It sounds horrible in French, German or any other language except English that I can think of and there are other English word names that work better in an international environment.Still Brooke is probably my favorite. However if I could I would choose a completely different name, they are all okay but not really to my taste.

Brooke. I know a female Blake, but to me it's an all-male name. Birdie just sounds stupid. I wouldn't even name a pet bird that.

Brooke, definitely. Blake sounds too masculine and Birdie sounds uneducated and dumb. Here are some combos for Brooke, though:Brooke Aveline
Brooke Elise
Brooke Alodia
Brooke Anaïs
Brooke Rénée
Brooke Rosalie
Brooke Amara
Brooke Odette

In order of preference, from favourite to least: Birdie — I think it sounds light and bright and cheerful. I’ve known a very adorable little Birdie. Blake — It’s not something I love for any gender but I can certainly see the appeal. It feels earthy. Brooke — I like the imagery, but the sound is not dissimilar to a cat throwing up. Combinations I would use:Birdie Rosamund
Blake Elizabeth Iris
Brooke Seraphina

Brooke, Birdie, then Blake.
I love Brooke on a girl, but I like Brooks more on a boy. Birdie is a guilty pleasure of mine, but it wouldn't be taken seriously. I like Blake as a middle name, and as a boy's name. Brooke Kristina

Brooke? For sure. It’s got a pretty sound and I like the images that come to mind when I say Brooke. Least is definitely Blake. I hate it for a girl, and like it for a boy.Brooke Victoria

Best: Blake. I don't love it, but the contradictory meanings are interesting, and I think of poetry and illustrations.Birdie and Brooke both get on my nerves. Brooke seems like the better name, of the two, but honestly, I'd rather be called Birdie.Blake Primrose
Birdie Georgette
Brooke Winifred
