Edwin hands down. So cute and tweedy.

For some reason I prefer Edwin.

I much prefer Edwin to Edward, I just find it more handsome.

I like Edward more but my dad’s name is Edwin. So my son is Oliver Edwin. Edwin sounds nerdy and backwoods at the same time. Edward sounds strong and regal.I do like Edwin, though, despite my associations. My dad is like innately cool (though he is kind of backwoods, lol) so he’s helped me fight off that Steve Erkel image the name calls forth.

I used to really like Edwin, now I think it’s rather wimpy sounding, especially next to Edward.Though I don’t particularly like Edward, Eddy is nice enough. Not Ed, though.

Edward but it is one of my brothers middle names. My parents picked it because he was given a lot of teddy bears when he was born.

Wouldn’t Theodore have made more sense?

I’m in the uk and Ted is a very common nn for Edward here. The British prime minister from 1970-1974 was a man known as Ted Heath. His full name was Sir Edward Richard George Heath
