[Opinions] Adelaide Evelyn?
We have a three-year-old daughter named Eleanor Allison "Nora" and we're having a second daughter. We both really love Adelaide/Ada. I have a weird thing with first letters in sibsets. Nora's initials are EA, so we were thinking about AE and we both also love Evelyn(EEV-lin). So, WDYT about Adelaide Evelyn? I'm open to suggestions

When I read "Evelyn," I pronounce it EHH-vuh-lenn. Based on that, I don't like the flow of Adelaide Evelyn, although I like both names individually a great deal. Adelaide EEV-lin does flow better, but at least in my corner of the world that would not be the intuitive pronunciation of her middle name. (Perhaps it is where you are from!). Other ideas: Eve, Elise, Eliana, Evangline, Elaine, Eloise, Elora, Eliza

I think Evelyn Adelaide flows better than Adelaide Evelyn. Nora and Ada are lovely together. I'm also happy to see someone use the name, Adelaide!
Other ideas:
Adelaide Eva
Adelaide Edith - Edie is another nickname option
Adelaide Eliza I get the initials being the same thing. My father was CC, my mother EC, my sister CE, me EE, my brother DC and my other brother SE. I don't think my parents did it on purpose but my children had to have an E or a C or I wouldn't have felt right. So they are EC (same as my mother) and CA

Eleanor and Adelaide/Nora and Ada are great together, I love it.Adelaide Evelyn is a little laborious to say, but how often will it be used in full anyway? The names suit each other.

Adelaide Evelyn is really pretty and would fit nicely with her older sisters name. Ada Evelyn is lovely too, but I think Adelaide fits in better with Eleanor. Other suggestions are Alice, Abigail, Agnes, Alma, Annabelle, Annie, Arabella, Astrid, Audrey, Ava and Azalea for a fn and Edith, Eliana, Elizabeth, Elle, Emmeline, Esme, Esmeralda, Esther and Ethel for a mn. So many sweet combos could be made with these names. I love so many A and E girls names myself.
