My friend is having a son and she wants to name him one of the names above. Which do you prefer? Are there any negative points about any of the names? Also she already decided that the middle name would be Alexander. Any opinions?

I adore Lucas, it is one of my favourite names. Lucas Alexander nn Luc is my choice out of these.

I adore them all. Luke Alexander and Lucas Alexander sound the best, though, since LucAALexander runs together.

Luke does rhyme with puke, and Lucus with mucous, though. Luca is also a Hungarian girls' name.

I personally love Luke, despite its popularity. Luca is the least well-known of the 3, but those unfamiliar with it might perceive it as feminine (I don't, btw). The only other 'negatives' I can think of are the rhyming words of "puke" and "mucus" but I don't think that's worth not using the names.

I don't think that i would use any of those names. but if anything use Lucas

I don't think Luca Alexander flows at all, Lucas Alexander doesn't sound that good either, but Luke Alexander is alright. Luke is my fave out of the three names also.

Oooo this is a tough one seeing as though I love them all. I really just can't decide. And no negative points. But if I absolutely HAD too I would use Luca Alexander only because I don't hear it as often as the other two. If I didn't have a cousin named Lucas these names would most definately be on my fav. name list.

I love all of them, but with Alexander as the middle name, I would go with Lucas.

I think that Lucas Alexander goes the best, but my favorite out of the three of those is Luca. Luke bothers me for some reason.

By far, I definitely prefer Luke over the others. Luke is a very strong, handsome, classic name that will age well, and Luke Alexander makes a very nice combo.

Lucas Alexander would be nice, too, but I just prefer Luke to Lucas.

I love Lucas, and Luca only for girls. So Luke gets my vote, I know a boy named Luke.
