Would anybody happen to know the Spanish name for "Candice" or for "Miriam!" Your help would be appreciated! Thanks!

They're both used in the bible - Candace in the NT, Miriam in the OT. So all you have to do is find a Spanish bible and look them up.When you have done so, why not tell us what you found? It will be interesting.

Candance meaning "white" would most probably be Blanca, and Miriam would be MariaLala

You are working on two different levels here, and I'm not sure what Candice wanted in her post: a translation of the original (?) meaning - or Spanish forms of the names themselves.
Now Candace obviously doesn't originally mean "white", the name was influenced later by the Latin word "candidus". But Maria is the Latinate form of the Hebrew (?) Miriam.
Maybe Candice is happy with either solution …Andy

I suppose you are looking for translations into Spanish.CANDICE (Kandake) probably means "queen", so it would be REINA in Spanish (if this can be a name)MIRIAM is probably an Egyptian name meaning "beloved", so how about AMADA?Andy ;—)

ConclusionCandice Miriam (hebrew name) you are "Blancamente incandecente amada, rebeldía del mar de amargura, hija que fue deseada" ¿qué tal si te rebautizo "Candela Cardiaca"? now search for yourself for names with any of these meanings... Choose whatever you prefer, it wont be difficult

Maite and Mayte are indeed Spanish and Portuguese (I believe Portuguese, maybe in that part I'm worng) forms of the compound: Maria Teresa
Marianela is compound of Maria and Gianella and similiar Italian names, the "ll" becomes "l" in Spanish because in Spanish it's pronounced like a consonant "Y"
Maribel=Maria Isabel (Mary Elizabeth)
Maricela=Maria Ciel@ (Mary sky/heaven) affected by the name "Marcel"
Marisa=MAria Isabel
Marisela=Maria Isabel/Ciel@ (the proper word is "cielo" but as a fake adjective women might be called "ciela" in singular and "cielas" in plural)
Marisol=María Sol (Mary Sun)
Marita=Pequeña María (Little Mary; It's to "María" what "Johnny" is to "Johnathan")
Maritza=Maria Isabel
