Compared with (from January 2008):

Girls

1. Emily
2. Sarah
3. Agnes
4. Manon
5. Martha

Boys

1. Noam
2. Marcin
3. Matthias

My boy's list and style has completely changed. That list in particular is very Euro, while my list now is more "proper/traditional English". My girl's list hasn't changed as much (classic names), except my old list seems to be made up of "young sounding" names while my taste now is more literary, reserved and "settled".

"What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round it needs a big, wide sounding name like ow...ound...round...ground! That's it! That's a good name-ground!
I wonder if it'll be friends with me"
