I will never understand why Louisa isn't more common. I kind of understand why Louise isn't used much, it fits in more with names like Lucille and Arlene and will probably not come back in the next 10-20 years. But Louisa is so contemporary sounding and fits right in with Ava, Ella and Olivia.
