Ransom for girl or boy: I really dislike it, sorry. I understand that, because of the ransom theory of atonement, Ransom can be seen as a spiritual choice, but I still hate it. I can't get past the standard meaning of the word which is really something ugly. Charlie for a girls mn: Fine. I really think just about anything goes as a middle name.Boys names for the nickname Joey & Gus: I don't have anything new to add to what has already been posted except "Joey" could be a nickname for any 3-name combo with the initials J.O.E. Girls double fn with Ever in either spot: Ah, I love double names, but Ever is a tough one to work with. When it's in the first position, everything sounds too phrasey, so I think it's better as the second name. I can't come up with any combos, though. Namesakes for either gender for Leland, Rachel, Beth, and Ann: I'll just add one for the opposite gender. Forgive repeats.Leland - Lela "Lee-la"
Rachel - Hmm...Shepherd? (ewe-->flock-->shepherd)
Beth - Hmm, again. You could go gender-bender with something like Bethel, gender neutral like Bethlehem, or make something up like Bethson.
Ann - Anson

Ransom for a girl is kinda cool, but more of an odd nickname than anything else.
Ransom for a boy is all right, but also seems nickname-ey.Charlie is cute on a girl.Obviously Joesph. Other than that I can't think of one.
August, Augustin, Augustus, Gustav.Jasmin-Ever

Ann: Anne, Anna, Annie

Ransom - awful for either gender. It is too "wordy" and isn't even a nice word. If I had to choose a gender, I suppose it would be masculine.Charlie - I don't mind it as a nickname and I suppose it would be OK as a middle name, but I prefer it for a boy.Ever-Lily

Ransom for a girl - stupid.
Ransom for a boy - stupid.Charlie for a girls middle name. I know a male Charley so this name is firmly masculine in my mind, but since it's in the middle spot, who cares?Joseph "Joey"
August "Gus" - though I did once know a "Just Gus", ick.Don't you ever do that again Grace-Ever. Or is she saying; Don't you ever do that again, Grace, ever. Hmmm?Leland and Rachel seem hard to honour if you're avoiding the actual name.
My personally favourite for Beth and Ann are Bethan (does both), or Arianna. Elizabeth, Bethany, Anna, Brianna, Antonia etc could also work.

Don't like Ransom on either gender. In fact, hate it. Charlie is okay as a nn for Charlotte but otherwise I don't like it on a girl. Joey can be for the obvious, Joseph, but I suppose you could stretch it to Joash, Jonah, Jonas, and Josiah. Nn's for Gus could be Finnegas, August, Gustav, and Angus. Namesakes:
Leland: Layla, Leah, Landon, Lachlan, Lee.
Rachel: Rachelle, Shelly, Sheldon, Rae, Raymond.
Beth: Any other diminutive or variation of Elisabeth.
Ann: Marianne, Anton, Andrew, Anabel, etc.

Ransom: Terrible for a girl or a boy. Ransom is what you pay the Mafia to release your brother.
Charlie: Silly as a mn, silly on a girl, too self-consciously tomboyish and pet-like. Charlene or Charlotte is better.
Joseph, Josiah, Jonah, Jonas, Joel. KISS: Keep It Simple, Sweetheart.
Nickname for Gus: August, Fergus, Gustave, if you must.
Ever-Clear, Ever-Ready, Ever-Green, For-Ever. Ever is ridiculous as a person's name.
The best namesakes for Leland, Beth, Rachel and Anne are Leland, Beth, Rachel and Ann. KISS again.

Ransom for a boy is eccentric, but kinda cool. I like it. It'd probably make me squirm at first, but not near as much as Landon or Ryker or Random.Ransom for a girl seems terrible to me. Makes me think of kidnapping.I don't care about middle names, I kinda think anything goes, so whatever to Charlie as a mn. Charlie as a girl's fn makes me groan. I hate it.Joey: gosh, it's so childish ... uh, Joseph obvs.
Gus: Augustus. Gustave.I'm not into Ever.Leland - Leland, Lela, Leigh Lynn
Rachel - Raquel (I like Raquel.)
Beth - Beth, Bethan, Bethany, Annabeth, other ___beth names
Ann - Gosh. There are zillions of ways to refer to Ann. Can't list them all.
Beth Anna Ever is ok.
A stranger idea, which you might be open to, considering you named a child Caemlyn: Chelan "shell-ANN" http://www.behindthename.com/submit/name/chelan is the name of a lake in my state. It could be said to refer to both Rachel and Ann. Could be respelled or have the pronunciation changed to your taste, too.
