Old names that no one uses (looking for suggestions)
Hello All!
Normally I would be searching the Social Security index of name myself (for underused gems), however I am just having a lazy week - so that project is postponed. I thought maybe you all could think of some names that are old, but really not in use today. We all know the names that used to be in fashion 100 years ago, and are coming back (Eleanor!), so that is not what I mean. You don't have to love it (Dorcas), but anything you want to contribute would make my day! A comment on whether you think it is usable would be awesome too. Feel free to discuss some of these I came up with (or had on my list):
Melisande
Clarice
Eudora
Dorcas (secretly wish this was usable)
Ursula
Aloisia
Hiram
Lemuel
Ambrose
Linden
Alonzo

Good list!I have a nephew-by-marriage named Thierry. He lives in France, though.I've never heard the name in my (French-speaking) area, one of those, I guess, that never crossed the ocean. Dario is great, a bright, happy name. Alaric is a name sometimes used, not currently however.More an older man's name.

Weird is fine! Gives me more to look at! Though not many of these I found too weird. Some I like:
Biette
Phélisé
Aymonette
Plaisancevery much my style. I know an Alaric, and Albion is a town near me. Makes sense that it was someone's name at some point. I actually kinda like it too, but it's unusable for the town. Emeric
Thierry
Audric
I like a lot. Bravlin is different and I am on the fence about it. Thanks for the contributions!

Demetria, maybe?Dorcas is a Biblical name, so you could go with some less used Biblical names like:Tirzah
Aquila
Huldah
Orpha
