Of the girls solo girls, Sylvia is my favorite, followed by Danielle. Of the solo boys, I love Forrest and dig Elroy.I know Wyatt gets a bad rap here, but I've always liked it. I also like Gus and love Juniper, so the spunky triplet set is working for me. :)

Aw those triplets are adorable. The Juniper and Gus part especially - too perfect.

Danielle - You know, Danielle is actually quite nice. It's common enough that everyone knows it, yet I think I only know of two of them.
Sylvia - I know an amazing one, and so I'm liking the name more and more.
Natalie - Love it and Natalia too.
Ezera (misspelling of Ezra) - yuck. What a terrible spelling.
Harper - dislike
Seana (like Shawna) - the name is dated and the spelling is bad
Aria - okay. Not my style, but okay
Forrest - Cool.
Elroy - nerdy and great
Wyatt & Gus & Juniper - If only it was August nn Gus, it would be perfect. I love Juniper.

Are these from your job? if I discovered that a nurse was posting baby names -including my daughter's - online I'd be very upset.

Really? I didn't say they were from my job. Even if I had, and it was your child, and I posted the name Miriam, how do you know that your daughter isn't one of the 3 Miriam's born that week? Do you really think your child is so special that people will immediately see their name and think, "Oh, that must be Miriam Marie, the daughter of Vivian and Joe." No. They don't.

no, I don't. I would say however that triplets would easily be spotted. And it doesn't matter if I could be identified or not. It would be a violation of my privacy by my nurse and that is a problem.

Its not a violation of your privacy if the information is not specific to you. Maybe you feel it is, but the law doesn't feel it is.

I agree with the other responders... I don't see why it would be a problem. The names are not specific with surnames or other identifying details. How would it be different than those of us posting the name of newborns from our friends or that we see in the newspaper, etc?As unique as a name might be... chances are there are others out there. My daughter is Clarisse Bituin - would you believe that there are three people with that name, just on facebook? And... I thought it was a crazy unique combo. So... I guess I am assuming you would be upset if someone posted your daughter's first name online because you think they could either track it back to you, or you don't want people hearing the name and it becoming popular.

Neither. I just think it's unprofessional. As for not finding out - a poster was actually contacted by a student's parents after they found the post. It would just feel like a violation of my privacy for a nurse to put up my daughter's name.

she's hardly the firstAnd she gives no details as to the hospital, the babies' last names, or even when exactly they were born, and most of the names are so ordinary they could belong to anyone.

How is it any different from someone from any job posting names though? As long as they aren't giving out last names or anything. I post names I hear at work and so do others.

Yeah, I posted students' names when I worked at the schools and names from the care home. I never included last names or the name of the school/facility, so I never thought it was a problem. If it was, no one ever told me. :/

Yeah, I work for a bank and I've posted names of co-workers kids and straight up customers themselves. As long as there's no identifying info (like last names, the area you live in, where you work, whatever) it's not a problem. Even with babies you can't look up any info. I have my son's first, middle, last name and where he lives and nothing comes up with that info.

The triplet names sound like they were just pulled randomly out of a hat by a class of third-graders.
Juniper is so dumb.

Always been a big fan of Danielle and Natalie as names.
Elroy is lovely to see in use - hopefully the "Jetsons" link has died off enough. Though, I loved that TV show as a kid... so wouldn't mind the reference still being alove. Harper is a bit overused and not very pretty imo, but I know a few so I can already see it on adorable children today. Seana was a common variation in my town (by that, I mean I knew a few in the 90s). I prefer Shauna or Shawna. Ezera makes me roll my eyes. I just don't get it. Aria and Forrest are accepted and pretty if you like natury names like me... so I like those. I like Sylvia too, though I personally lean towards Sylvie more. Wyatt, Gus and Juniper are a decent sibset of just-outside-the-trend names. They don't quite flow well in my opinion, but I love that they are not matchy, but they maintain a niche in what is popular right now. Juniper got the best deal in this family though.

I like Harper, Forrest and Wyatt. And I think the names of the triplet make a nice set. Although I would use Gus just as NN and not as a FN.
Also, Ezra would be nice..but like this, not really. Is "Ezera" just a mistake in a paper or did the parents really choose to spell it like this?

The parents chose that spelling. :(

omg...so, all hope is lost in that case :( thanks for the answer ^^
